How to Add Spotify to Garmin Fenix 5 Plus

In a recent announcement, it was made clear by Garmin that its watches will be getting more music services for offline music. It expanded offline music support by integrating its watches with Spotify.
If you are a premium Spotify user and a proud Fenix 5 Plus owner, then you can easily play Spotify music on your watch. Just get a wireless network connection and make sure that your watch’s battery is more than fifty percent. You will have to install the Garmin Connect application on your phone and sign in to your Garmin account. Then head over to the Connect IQ store and get Spotify.

Firstly you need to go to the Connect IQ Store. To access Garmin’s store, launch the Garmin Connect application, and tap on More. From the list of options, find Connect IQ Store and tap on it.
If you have an Android device, then just launch Garmin Connect and press the menu button in the upper left-hand corner. Now, tap on Connect IQ Store from the list of options.
Activating Spotify on Garmin Fenix 5 Plus
After syncing the watch, you will get notified on your Garmin watch stating that a new music service has been added. Tap on the Ok button, and a welcome screen will greet you. Choose a provider, and tap on Spotify.
Tap on Activate, and you will be notified on your phone. The notification will ask you to sign in and authorize the service. Sign in to Spotify, accept the terms, and authorize it for use.

After activating Spotify on your Garmin watch, you can choose playlists.
Just long press the down option on your watch, and from the menu choose Library. Now, tap on Add music and podcasts and select Playlists.
